Recording & Studio
1. Do you have a professional home studio? Yes. I record from a dedicated home studio in Tokyo featuring a VERY-Q Plus recording booth suitable for professional voice over production.
2 What does your recording setup include? My current studio setup includes: * Sennheiser MKH 416 * Audio-Technica AT4040 * RME Babyface Pro FS * Adobe Audition * VERY-Q Plus recording booth
3. Do you offer live-directed sessions? Yes. Remote live-directed sessions are available via Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Source-Connect upon request.
Workflow & Delivery
1. What information do you need before recording? Helpful information includes intended usage, tone, timing requirements, pronunciation guidance, and reference materials whenever available.
2. What kind of script support can you provide? I can review Japanese scripts from a voice over perspective and suggest adjustments for natural flow, clarity, timing, and cultural nuance. This is especially helpful for translated scripts, corporate videos, e-learning, and localization projects.
3. Can you provide a custom audition or sample recording? Yes. Custom audition samples may be available depending on the project.
４. Can you match timing to video? Yes. If synchronization is important, please provide a reference video or timing guide whenever possible.
５. Can you provide split files? Yes. Basic file splitting is available. For projects requiring a large number of individually labeled files, additional editing fees may apply depending on the scope of the work.
6. What file formats do you deliver? Common delivery formats include WAV, MP3, and AIFF. Additional formatting requests are also welcome.
７. How fast is your turnaround time? Turnaround time depends on project size and scheduling, but many projects can often be completed within 24–48 hours.
８. How do revisions work? Minor performance or pronunciation adjustments are typically included. Script changes after recording may require an additional fee depending on the scope of the revision.
9. Do you have standard rates? Rates are customized depending on the project type, usage, script length, and delivery schedule. Please feel free to contact me for a quote tailored to your project.
International Projects
1. Do you work with international clients? Yes. I regularly collaborate with clients outside Japan for corporate narration, commercials, e-learning, and localization projects.
2. Can you communicate in English? Yes. I communicate in English for project coordination and remote recording sessions.
3. What time zone are you in? I am based in Tokyo, Japan (JST). Flexible scheduling is available for international sessions.
